CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Students must maintain perfect discipline in the campus and premises of the college.
  • Students are required to attend the classes wearing decent dresses/uniform prescribed by the college.
  • Every student will have to possess Identity card issued by the college.   The card will have to be produced when using the Library facility and at other times, when proof of identity is required.
  • Every student should conduct himself / herself with other students and staff members very courteously.
  • Students are required to attend classes regularly.   They should not absent themselves from classes and examination without prior permission from the Principal / Director which is otherwise considered as an act of indiscipline.
  • Late comers are not allowed to enter the classes.
  • Students are not allowed to go out during class hours under normal circumstances.
  • When student cannot attend classes, Leave letter must be submitted to the Class Teacher who will forward it to the Principal / Director.
  • Students should compulsorily wear apron while doing practicals, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the Labs.
  • Students are required to submit practical records regularly as scheduled.
  • Student should not meddle with equipments in the Laboratories without the permission of the staff in charge.   They will be responsible for the damage and will have to pay the cost of equipment.
  • Students must maintain silence in the Library , class room and Laboratories.
  • Students whose records exhibit a history of unsatisfactory performance are liable to be expelled from the College.
  • Ragging, teasing, misbehaving, throwing waster papers, defacing the walls  and commiting nuisance within the college premises is totally prohibited and punishable.
  • Students are forbidden from causing any damage to the property of the college;  any kind of damage done to the college property must be made good by the person responsible for it, they are also liable for disciplinary action.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the college premises.
  • Two wheels and four wheelers should be parked in the parking place only.
  • Use of mobiles / earphones / iPods etc are prohibited inside the college premises.
  • Every student have to give an undertaking stating that he / she will follow the Code of Conduct in force in the college
  • An undertaking is required from the parents about the good character of their Wards.

Any breach of the Code of Conduct and discipline will entail punishment such as suspension from the college and rustication on the recommendation of the Disciplinary Committee.
